1. Our Commitment

Magnias Incorporated is committed to conducting business ethically and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. As a semiconductor design company, we take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously and hold ourselves to the highest standards of corporate governance.

2. RoHS Compliance

Magnias products are designed and manufactured in compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (EU RoHS 2011/65/EU and its amendment 2015/863/EU). Our products do not contain restricted substances — including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, and the four phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP) — above the maximum concentration values permitted by the directive.

3. REACH Compliance

Magnias monitors the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and ensures our products comply with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH). We work with our manufacturing partners to track and disclose SVHC content above the 0.1% w/w threshold as required.

Updated REACH declarations reflecting the latest SVHC candidate list are available upon request.

4. Conflict Minerals

Magnias is committed to responsible sourcing of minerals used in our products. We support the goals of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502 and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation (EU 2017/821) regarding tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG).

• We require our supply chain partners to source minerals from conflict-free smelters and refiners
• We support the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and its Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT)
• We conduct due diligence on our supply chain in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance

5. Environmental Responsibility

• Halogen-free options: Many of our products are available in halogen-free packaging, meeting IEC 61249-2-21 standards
• Lead-free soldering: All products support lead-free soldering processes compatible with Sn/Ag/Cu (SAC) solder alloys at reflow temperatures up to 260°C
• Moisture sensitivity: Products are classified per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 and shipped with appropriate moisture barrier packaging
• Packaging: We work to minimize packaging waste and use recyclable materials where practicable

6. Export Controls

Magnias complies with applicable export control laws and regulations, including those of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the United States, and the European Union. Products may be subject to export licensing requirements depending on the destination, end-use, and end-user. It is the customer's responsibility to comply with all applicable import and export regulations in their jurisdiction.

7. Product Change and End-of-Life Notices

Magnias publishes Product Change Notices (PCN) and End-of-Life (EOL) notices to inform customers of material changes or discontinuations. These notices are available on our PCN page and EOL page.

8. Quality Standards

Our products are designed and tested to meet industry-standard quality and reliability requirements:

• AEC-Q100/Q101 qualification for automotive-grade products
• JEDEC standards for component reliability testing
• IPC standards for packaging and assembly compatibility
